My name is Edmond, and I am an unicorn tamer and slacker extraordinaire. I tend to take unimportant (at least, in the eyes of other people – I’M LOOKING AT YOU, PARENTAL UNITS!) things too seriously, but I’d still like to think that I am a cool, friendly dude. I dropped out of college two-years in, and while I loved the college life, I didn’t love the college fee or the college classes so my only regret is not doing it earlier. Occasionally I will pop into my friendly neighbourhood community college and learn something interesting, and I think it’s worked out quite well.
I love gaming of all kinds, be it of the board, role-play, or video variety. Programming is something I’ve always like to do, and have only recently started – with Python being my current language of choice. I eventually want to get into Android development, if only for my own amusement, since I doubt I’d ever make anything usable.
Musically, I have zero talent, which is apparent from the fact that I will listen to the most atrocious of musical genres (not dubstep, though, that’s not music.). But hip-hop has stuck with me and is what I listen to the most. I don’t have nearly as much movie and TV time as I liked to, and as such, I’ve missed out on some great classics that I have still yet to watch, Star Wars Ep. IV-VI included. (I will be turning in my nerd cred tomorrow.)
Most of my downtime is spent with my puppy on my lap. He is one the the two most adorable creatures in my life, the other being my little bro. And believe you me, the two of them are creatures indeed.
I trade stocks for income, and my work-time is mostly composed of reading financial reports. You won’t ever see me writing about that stuff though, since I actually want people to read this thing. I’ve also recently taken a job at a coffee place to gain some of that real-world-hands-on experience I’ve heard so much about, which I think is pretty darn cool.
I tend to fancy myself as someone clever and witty at times (my friends don’t think so but they are clearly wrong), and my use of sarcasm is frequent, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. I also say bad words.
This blog will reflect all my active interests, and as such most likely won’t have too much focus. I don’t expect to update with any great regularity either, so please subscribe to the RSS feed! If you like, please follow my on Google+ and Twitter (links to the right!)
